Cindy Garrison with GunCindy Garrison (born 1972) is a outdoors guide and host of the ESPN Outdoors program, Get Wild! With Cindy Garrison.

Garrison grew up in Northern California and Oregon. Her parents, both of whom hunt and fish, introduced her to the sports as a child. When she traveled to Botswana with her father in 1998, she so enjoyed the experience that she stayed for five years, running camps for a safari company as well as founding her own safari company.

In 2003, Garrison became co-host of ESPN2’s In Search of Fly Water, which ran for two seasons. Her stint on this show led her current job as host of Get Wild! Garrison’s current show is probably most notable for its exotic locations and her “extreme” approach to outdoor pursuits.

In September 2006, she became an official spokeswoman for Women in the Outdoors.

  3. Hi Cindy, March 1 & 2 2008 is going to be the 1st annual whitefish, trout and salmon Ice fishing tournament on Munising Bay in Upper Michigan. I work at a nursing home there and we are the ones hosting it. Cabelas is looking at sponsoring this tournament, and it would be an honor to have a professional like yourself as a guest here. This tournament is 100% cash payback, and we are going to do a few raffles to raise some money for resident activities. If you are interested, It would be an honor to have you here.

  5. Cindy,
I just had the privilege of watching your show taped in Louisiana. I feel that was your best show ever. The hunt, the harvest, friends and family having a great time. I was so inspired by the show that I pick up my fishing gear and said heck with cutting the grass. I need more shows like that. Thanks and keep up the good work.
